Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology's (RUET) team(RUET_Aftermath) participated in the 46th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) held in Luxor, Egypt, on April 18, 2024. This renowned competition draws top universities worldwide to showcase their programming and ICT skills. Only three universities from Bangladesh, including RUET, had the opportunity to compete at this 46th global final round. The three Bangladeshi Universities are:

1. Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET)

2. Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET)

3. The University of Dhaka (DU)

RUET's team, comprising Risal Shahriar Shefin, Sayeef Mahmud, and Adnan Toky from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), demonstrated their talent by solving 4 problems during the contest, earning them an honorable mention and a ranking of 91st. Congratulations are extended to all Bangladeshi teams for their participation. In this edition of the ICPC, Peking University (China) emerged as the champion, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA) as the 1st runner-up, and National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia) as the 2nd runner-up. It's worth noting that the 46th and 47th editions of ICPC were organized simultaneously at the same venue and date due to global circumstances.
